Charles Ancelle is a producer, director and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Charles was born and raised in Paris, France, where he discovered a true passion for film at an early age. As a child, Charles would watch classic and modern Hollywood films over and over until he would know them by heart. As he grew up, he learned to take advantage of Paris' uniquely eclectic theatrical scene to watch as many films from various horizons as he could, and eventually, he tried his hands at filmmaking himself for the first time when he was fifteen years old. He became passionate about the process instantly and started ingesting as much information as he could immediately after.
Charles eventually decided to move to Hollywood to study film, after which he produced, wrote and directed a variety of projects. His credits include John Bondage, an action comedy that earned its lead actor a best actor award at the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts; The Pinhole Affect, which stars Alessandra Torresani, Ryan Carnes, Alexandra Krosney and Elena Satine, as well as the web series Behind The Blinds, which has attracted hundreds of thousands of views and earned him and his co-creators the Best Director award at the Sunset Film Festival. His latest project, Sisters, is currently making the festival rounds.
